As a registered patent agent, Marnie conducts prior art searches;  evaluates search results and prepares patentability opinions;  drafts and prosecutes patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, World Intellectual Property Organization (under the Patent Cooperation Treaty) and over 15 foreign patent offices including Australia, Canada, Europe and Mexico.

Marnie also assists with litigation, multiple aspects of the trademark lifecycle and copyright matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Marnie was a paralegal for a Washington, D.C. Life Sciences and Food and Drug law practice of a major Silicon Valley law firm.

Marnie holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Emory & Henry College with a double major in Environmental Studies (concentrating in Biology and Chemistry) and Political Science.
